Abstract
Building on the success of the Italian-Polish Aerospace Forum, the 2026 edition marks the strategic evolution of the format into the Italian-Polish Defence & Security Forum, reflecting the growing convergence between aerospace, land, maritime, underwater, cyber, space and dual-use technologies.
The Forum aims to facilitate the industrial cooperation between Italy and Poland in the defence sector, by bringing together different stakeholders (industry, institutions and military operators) in order to follow up on the political and industrial decisions imposed by a landscape shaped by Russia’s war against Ukraine and Europe’s transition to industrial readiness, production scale-up, supply-chain resilience and technological innovation.
Poland is undertaking one of Europe’s most ambitious defence modernisation efforts in all domains, with a strong emphasis in establishing competitive industrial and technological capabilities thanks to cooperation and technology transfer with all the main players in defence and security.
Italy offers a broad defence ecosystem, covering aerospace, electronics, naval and underwater technologies, missiles, cyber, space. The Forum will focus on different proposals of partnership-oriented industrial cooperation and follow-up through B2B, G2B and G2G contacts.
The first part of the programme will combine three high-level panels focused on air defence and land warfare after Ukraine, unmanned systems, counter-UAS, multi-domain integration as well as the security of critical infrastructures and maritime gateways, including ports, energy hubs and underwater technologies.
The second part will feature capability-oriented company presentations and pre-arranged meetings, connecting industrial solutions with operational needs, partners, cooperation models and funding or procurement pathways.
